Court Duty terms of use
Effective from: 14 October 2026
The short version
- Court Duty is a job board. Clubs publish jobs. People apply. We deliver the application.
- We are not an agency. We do not interview, recommend, place or employ anyone, and we take no commission.
- We promise no result: no number of applicants for a club, no job for a candidate.
- Clubs: real jobs only, lawful, no discrimination, pay what you show, one post per job.
- Candidates: tell the truth.
- Posting costs $3.99 for 30 days, or $39 featured. One payment. Full refund within 7 days if the job got no applications. Until card payment is switched on, posting is free.
- Some listings are collected from employers' own public careers pages. Any employer can have one removed within 2 working days.
- Our public pages are open to search engines and AI companies. Our daily numbers are free to reuse with credit (CC BY 4.0).
1. Who we are and what these terms are
Court Duty, at https://courtduty.com, is an independent project run by its founder ("we"). It is not yet a registered company. Contact: holacourtduty@gmail.com.
These terms apply to everyone who uses the site. By posting a job, applying to one or saving a profile, you accept them. How we use personal data is explained in the privacy notice.
2. What the service is
- A public list of jobs in padel, pickleball and tennis clubs.
- For candidates, free and without an account: read jobs, apply, ask for jobs like one you saw, and use "Match me" to see which open jobs fit you.
- For clubs: post a job for a fixed period and receive applications at the email address you give.
- Short summaries of each job, written automatically in our own words, with a link to the employer's own page where there is one.
3. What the service is not
- Not a recruitment or employment agency. We do not search for candidates on request, shortlist, interview, check references, negotiate or place anyone.
- Not a party to any hire. Any contract of work is between the club and the person. We are not the employer, the agent of either side or a guarantor of either.
- No guarantee. We do not promise a club any applications, or suitable ones. We do not promise a candidate an answer, an interview or a job.
- No checks on people or clubs. We do not verify identities, qualifications, right to work, references, pay or working conditions. Each side must do its own checks before agreeing to anything.
- Not advice. Nothing on the site is legal, immigration, tax or career advice.
4. Rules for clubs and employers
When you post a job, you confirm that:
- The job is real and open, at a club or business you are entitled to hire for. No posts to collect CVs, test the market or advertise something else.
- It is lawful where the work takes place: the role, the pay, the hours and the contract type.
- It does not discriminate. No requirements about age, sex, race, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation or any other protected ground, unless the law of the place of work clearly allows it for that role. Asking for a language or a certification the job needs is fine.
- You pay what you show. If the post states pay, housing, visa support or other benefits, that is what you offer.
- One post per job. Do not post the same vacancy several times. One post per role and place.
- Nobody pays to apply. You do not ask candidates for money, for bank or card details, or for identity documents before a real offer.
- You treat applicants' data properly. Applications are for filling that job. You do not sell them, add people to mailing lists or pass them to others. You delete an application when the person asks or when we tell you they withdrew. You are responsible for your own copy under the data protection law that applies to you.
- You tell us when the job is filled, so it comes down.
- The email you give for applications is one you control.
- You keep your private panel link private. Anyone with the link can see your applications and download the CVs. Do not post or forward it. If it may have leaked, press "Make a new private link" on the panel, or write to us and we replace it; the old one stops working.
- You use the panel only for this job. Download only what you need, delete downloaded CVs when the hire is over or when the candidate asks, and never contact a candidate on WhatsApp unless they ticked the box that allows it. Applications and CVs on the panel are deleted 14 days after the job closes.
You keep the rights in the text you send us. You allow us to publish it, shorten it, summarise it, translate it and show it on the site, in our emails and on our social accounts while the job is live. A posted job is a public page: search engines and AI companies may read it (section 10).
5. Rules for candidates
- Tell the truth. Your name, experience, certifications, languages and right-to-work answer must be accurate and your own.
- Apply for yourself, not for someone else, and only to jobs you would take.
- Be careful. We do not vet clubs. Never pay to get a job. Do not send identity documents or bank details before a real offer. Report anything suspicious to holacourtduty@gmail.com.
- You must be at least 16 years old and old enough to work where the job is.
Applying is free and always will be.
6. Rules for everyone
Do not copy the listings in bulk, run automated tools against the site, try to get into data that is not yours, send spam through our forms, pretend to be someone else, or post anything false, abusive or illegal.
7. Listings we collect, and how to remove one
Some jobs are collected from the employer's own public careers page. For these:
- We show the job title, employer, place and basic facts, with our own automatic summary and a link to the source. We do not copy the advert in full.
- The "apply" button sends the candidate to the employer's own page.
- The summary may contain mistakes or be out of date. The employer's page is the authority. Check it before you apply.
- Being listed does not mean the employer is our customer, partner or endorses us.
To remove or correct a listing: the employer writes to holacourtduty@gmail.com with the link. We remove it within 2 working days (Monday to Friday) of the message reaching us, and stop collecting from that employer. No reason is needed.
8. Prices, payment and refunds
- Candidates never pay.
- Clubs pay $3.99 to post one job for 30 days, or $39 for a featured post: the same 30 days, at the top of the list and marked "Featured". Prices are in US dollars. No commission, whoever you hire.
- It is one payment. No trial, no subscription, nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. After 30 days the job closes; to keep it open, post it again.
- Until card payment is switched on, posting is free: a posted job goes live at once when it passes our automatic check; otherwise a person checks it and you have an answer within 2 working days. A job that meets these terms stays live for 30 days at no charge, as a standard post, and is never asked to pay for those 30 days. The Post a job page says which applies on the day. From the day payment is on, a new post costs the price above.
- Payment is by card through Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
- The job goes live when the payment is confirmed. If you paid and your job is not live within one hour, write to us: we publish it or refund you in full.
- Prices are shown without taxes unless the page says otherwise. Taxes are added where the law requires.
- Stripe sends a receipt by email when a payment is taken. Court Duty is not yet a registered company and cannot issue a tax invoice.
Refunds.
- Full refund within 7 days of paying if the job got no applications. "No applications" means we have not delivered any application for that job to your address. Write to holacourtduty@gmail.com from the address you posted with. We do not ask why.
- If the mistake is ours (you were charged twice, or the job never went live), we refund you in full. There is no time limit.
- No refund once an application has been delivered, after the 7 days, or if the job was removed because it broke these terms.
- Refunds go back to the same card, normally within 5 to 10 working days. A refunded job comes down.
Posts are sold to clubs and businesses, not to consumers. Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you that cannot be waived.
9. What we may remove or refuse
We may refuse, edit, hide or remove any listing, application or profile, without notice, when:
- it breaks these terms or the law, or we reasonably believe it does;
- it looks fake, misleading, a duplicate or a scam;
- the job is filled, expired or gone from the source;
- the employer or the person concerned asks;
- someone reports it and we need to look into it.
We may also stop serving a club or a person who breaks these terms repeatedly. If we remove a paid post, section 8 says whether a refund is due.
Report a fake, offensive or unlawful listing to holacourtduty@gmail.com. We hide it while we check.
10. Our content and yours
The site, its design, the name Court Duty and our summaries belong to us. You may link to any page and share any listing. You may not copy the listings in bulk or republish them as your own.
Our daily numbers are open. The counts published at /data and its files are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. Everything else on Court Duty is not. The licence is granted by Court Duty. You may use, share and adapt those counts, including commercially, as long as you credit Court Duty, link to the licence (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) and say if you changed them. It does not cover job listings or our summaries of them, clubs' names, logos and adverts, or the Court Duty name and logo.
Search engines and AI companies may read our public pages, both to answer people's questions and to train their models. That includes job pages, job lists and the data page. It does not include our forms or private pages, and no application, profile or email address is ever on a public page. If you post a job and do not want it read this way, do not post it here; if we listed your job from your own careers page and you do not want that, section 7 says how to have it removed.
Club names and logos belong to their owners. We use a club's name only to say whose job it is.
11. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the site running and correct, but we do not promise it will never fail, and we may change or stop parts of it. If we stop the service while your paid post is live, we refund the unused days.
12. Our liability
We are responsible for doing what these terms say with reasonable care. Beyond that:
- We are not responsible for what clubs and candidates do: the content of a post, the truth of an application, whether an interview, offer or job happens, or how either side behaves before, during or after a hire.
- We are not responsible for mistakes in automatic summaries when the link to the source was shown. Tell us and we fix them.
- We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, or for lost profit, lost business or lost opportunity.
- Our total liability to a club for any claim is limited to what that club paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if that is higher. To a candidate, who pays nothing, it is limited to USD 100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for wilful misconduct, or the rights you have under data protection and consumer law.
If you post a job that breaks section 4 and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you cover our reasonable costs.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and we email clubs with a live post before a change that affects them. A post already paid for keeps the terms it was bought under until it expires.
14. Law and disputes
Wherever you are, the mandatory consumer law and data protection law of your own country apply to you, and nothing in these terms takes them away. If you are a consumer you can bring a claim in the country where you live. These terms do not name a governing law or a court beyond that.
Before any of that, write to holacourtduty@gmail.com. Most things are settled with one email.
